NBA Players Would Like to Play Overseas Do Not Worry the NBA Bosses

The NBA lockout is still on and another hot topic is exploring among the basketball field that NBA star players are keen on playing basketball overseas in order to compensate their losses happen during the lockout. The NBPA in some certain plans to give pressure to the NBA bosses by the players playing basketball overseas.
However, the NBA bosses are not afraid of that, because there are limited chances for many players play basketball overseas. Those players who have contracts with NBA league will surely come back to the NBA court after the lockout. Therefore, even big star players like Kobe Bryant goes to play basketball during this summer, the bosses won’t be anxious.
At present, some of NBA players have signed the contracts with overseas teams. Deron Williams had signed the contract with Turkey Team, and the Besiktas is now after Kobe Bryant(Kobe Shoes), and Kevin Durant. Dwyane Wade said early that he will surely be on the court, even it is not on NBA court. The players are planning to play overseas, and that is what the NBPA is expecting. The organization hopes that more players could have contracts overseas during the lockout.
However, the truth is that players going overseas do not worry those NBA bosses. The fact is that there are limited chances for all of the players have contracts with foreigner teams or clubs; and not all foreigner teams and clubs have enough funds to sign the star players.
The European clubs and China are the two most likely destinations for the players who want to get part-time job during the lockout. European basketball courts are sort of low movement compared to NBA’s quick action. And they are not keen on the influence of the star players. And as for China, it is a big country owns great number of NBA fans and lots of funds to sign star players. However, there is limit in the input of foreigner players.
The NBPA regard this trend as a useful tool in the discussion of labor; however the NBA bosses are easy with this case because there are still more than 300 players do not have the chance to play overseas and the big pressure on them would lead them give up the insist on the salary in near future.
